Sol Camino Journeys is written and edited by three people working across Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom. Write to hello@solcaminojourneys.com and a person replies, not an autoresponder, usually within two business days from Monday to Friday.
What to send
Corrections come first: a closed restaurant, a changed train time, a ticket price that moved. These are the messages we act on the same week, because a route page that is wrong by an hour is worse than no route page at all.
- Route and transport questions, including connections and fares on lines you have travelled.
- Reader tips about places on our maps that deserve a place on them.
- Press and syndication requests, with your deadline in the first line.
- Corrections to any published price, hour or journey time.
What we do not take
We do not publish paid articles, sponsored routes or guest posts, and we cannot review a property we have not visited ourselves. If you run a place we have written about and want something changed, send the correction and we will check it before the next update.
For anything urgent while you are travelling, email is still the fastest route; we read it twice a day, and we will always tell you when we do not know rather than guessing.
How we use what you send
Messages stay between you and the desk: nothing is published, quoted or passed on without asking first. If a tip changes a route page, the page gets a new date and a short note that the hour or the price was checked again. Photographs are welcome where they show the thing you are describing — a timetable board, a platform number, a menu — and we delete them from the file once the correction has been made.
